E45 is one of the UK's most widely used emollient brands. The original cream contains white soft paraffin, light liquid paraffin and hypoallergenic lanolin. Available as cream, lotion, wash cream and bath oil. E45 has been a pharmacy staple for decades and many patients find the familiar formulation particularly effective. Important: E45 contains lanolin. If you have a lanolin allergy or sensitivity, choose a lanolin-free alternative such as Cetraben, Doublebase, Diprobase or Aveeno.
