For Glaucoma & Ocular Hypertension
The beta-blocker eye drop. Often combined with latanoprost.
Timolol is a beta-blocker eye drop used to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma. It’s been a mainstay of glaucoma treatment for decades and is now commonly used in combination with prostaglandin drops (like latanoprost) when one medication alone isn’t sufficient. Available as standard drops or long-acting gel formulation.
