The Diabetes – Diagnosis and Monitoring (HbA1c) assessment measures glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) to provide a clinically validated indication of average blood glucose levels over the preceding two to three months. It is used in both the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, and in the ongoing monitoring of glycaemic control in individuals with established diabetes. This assessment is available via onsite testing, postal sample collection, or at-home phlebotomy.
