  • A doctor every time
  • Today, every day.

What does the appointment involve?

A Equatorial Guinea visa medical generally involves the following, based on Equatorial Guinea's current requirements as we understand them today.

  • Examination: Two stages: (1) a pre-arrival medical certificate from a home-country physician confirming freedom from contagious disease; (2) a mandatory in-country exam at a government-approved clinic (HIV, TB, blood test, chest X-ray) before the residence permit, which the UK certificate cannot replace

  • Bloods: In-country exam includes a blood test and HIV screening. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

  • Chest X-ray: For TB screening. Referred to our imaging partner; additional charge.

  • Other tests: HIV and TB testing in-country; pre-arrival certificate is a general fitness declaration

  • Vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate required to enter; Ebola travel questionnaire possible. LoveMyLife does not offer yellow fever vaccination.

  • The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

Is there anything else I should know?

  • Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Equatorial Guinea embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Equatorial Guinea requires is yours to do.

  • Part of this process may need to be completed in the destination country; we complete the UK part.

  • Two-stage detail from a single EOR guide, not official.
