Latin America

  • A doctor every time
  • Today, every day.

What does the appointment involve?

A Venezuela visa medical usually involves the following, based on Venezuela visa medical's current requirements as we understand them today.

  • Examination: Residence categories have historically requested a medical certificate and in some cases an HIV certificate; free-text letter where accepted, apostilled/translated

  • Bloods: HIV certificate historically for some categories. Additional charge, confirmed at consultation.

  • Chest X-ray: For TB screening. Referred to our imaging partner; additional charge.

  • Other tests: HIV serology where required

  • The report: Completed on the destination's own form, an embassy template, or a covering report we draft, with all signatures and stamps included.

Is there anything else I should know?

  • Requirements and forms are your responsibility. Visa medical requirements change and embassies do not always announce it, so you must check the current requirements directly with the Venezuela embassy or High Commission in London, obtain the correct forms, and satisfy yourself that you have exactly what your application needs. We will help wherever we can, but confirming what Venezuela requires is yours to do.

  • Part of this process may need to be completed in the destination country; we complete the UK part.

  • Consular practice highly variable; confirm with SAIME or the Venezuelan consulate.
