Cyclizine is an antihistamine anti-emetic particularly effective for post-operative nausea, motion sickness and vestibular disorders. It’s widely used in hospital settings and is a first-line choice when nausea has a ‘motion’ or vestibular component. Causes moderate sedation.

Safety information

Driving & machinery

Metoclopramide, cyclizine, prochlorperazine: may cause drowsiness. Do not drive if affected. Ondansetron: unlikely to affect driving.

Age restriction

Metoclopramide: adults and young people over 15 (max 5 days). Domperidone: adults and adolescents over 35kg. Ondansetron: from age 6 months. Cyclizine: from age 6.

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
