Paroxetine is an SSRI with one of the broadest ranges of licensed indications -- it's approved for depression, GAD, social anxiety, panic disorder, OCD and PTSD. It's slightly more sedating than sertraline or fluoxetine, which can be helpful if anxiety and insomnia are prominent features.

Safety information

Driving & machinery

May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision, especially in the first few weeks. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.

Age restriction

Adults 18 and over for depression. Fluoxetine is licensed from age 8 for moderate-to-severe depression under specialist supervision. Other SSRIs are not recommended under 18 for depression.

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
